is a spyder 2 paintball gun any good?
what is a spyder 2 paintball marker worth? can anyone link me to a page? how is the gun for power and speed? is this gun any good?
the reason i ask because i am selling an amplifier on a local page and someone offered me a trade for a spyder 2 paintball gun which has some internal parts custom replaced. the amp is a randall rx75. which is a 75 watt guitar amp.
Hey bro. Ok first off you need to be more specific, there is no such thing (well to my knowledge anyways) of a "spyder 2". You're probably refering to either the Spyder VS2 or the Spyder MR2.
The basic difference between the guns is that the VS2 is a more speedball/ x ball oriented gun and the MR2 is a scenario/woodsball gun (MR stands for military replica, not sure whas VS in "VS2" stands for).
I can (almost) tell you from personal experience that the MR2 should be a great gun especially if your into the scenario/woodsball scene (I have the MR3, a cosmetically-upgraded discontinued version of the MR2). The guns have the same internals, so as far as performance the gun is great (especially for the money). My only complaint is that its a bit heavy but nothing you cant handle, and with an upgraded barrel (J&J ceramic 16") your gun will be very accurate.
Like most (if not all) spyders, they are not as air efficient, a bit heavier, louder, and less performance then most other guns (but if your not a pro then you'd be more then happy with the spyder VS2 or MR2's performance). If i had to personally rate them on a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being the highest), id give them a 8.8. Unfortunatly, both guns are now discontinued.
