How do i remove the engraving on my itouch?

So i bought an ipod touch off of ebay and it arrived today, i was so excited when i opened the box! but then i had a fit when i saw the dumb engraving of like some dogs or verious pet names. i kinda got very angry, aaaand i kinda want to get rid of it. I was thinking, i have some silver spray paint in my garage, if i dripped it in the engraving and wiped off the access, would if make the engraving unseeable? its not like... chromey spray, but its pretty shiney. I read on the internet to use like... sanding tools or brasso (which got more negative attention) or like... a buncha sandpapers, but i donr really want to mess up the back

So I have been dating this guy for 5 months and...?

We were fine up until I started asking questions like "you don't seem to be as into me as I am you" etc. and he kind of freaked out. He told me he would rather just "be friends" but still kisses me and stuff. He just got out of a 10 year relationship and is scared to jump right into another serious one. But we still talk every night and hang out a lot and plan on spending new years together. It's a really weird situation.

Anyway, about 3 weeks ago when things were fine I got him a Leatherman Wave (a super nice "tool" pocket knife) and got his initials engraved on the side of it. He works in construction and hunts so I thought it would be a pretty cool gift.

Creepy to still give it to him or would it be okay? I mean, what else am I going to do with it? I don't expect anything from him, of course.

BTW, I got it for him for Christmas.
he is 29 and I am 24

Sounds like he likes you but is scared in getting hurt again. Give him time. Give him that knife he would love it. Take it from me. I was married for 5yrs & it took me 2yrs before I could get into another meaningful relationship.

A simply (genuine) Damascus blade alone can cost up to a hundred dollars, especialy if the engravings and filligree are handmade. The kind of knife you're describing would probably cost upwards of fivehundred dollars (again, provided the blade is genuine Damascus steel).
Damascus steel is reknowned for it's durability and flexability, while forging Damascus blades was once considered to be a lost art, the secret was rediscovered by a Russian scientist in the 70s. The trick is that the blade is only strong in three places, the edge, the tip, and the blade just above the hilt. The rest of the blade is comparatively weak, but extremely light and flexable.

Help with identifying a possible antique hammer (tool)?

hi it proberbly is not antique but i stumpled across this very interesting BALL PEIN hammer, the reason for this is its size because it is only about 6" long and weighs hardly anything. If i try and describe to you what it looks like and stuff then hopefully i can get an answer to my question. First after stating the size it has a very peculiar crown type symbol engraved onto the side of the hammers and it also has the intials 'AM' written underneath that crown. On the otherside of the hammer head is the letters 'GRADES' but it appears to have a letter missing at the start as i see a slight engravement and it is alligned to the right rather than central it also has i believe the number '40' underneath this writting which is once again hard to make out. The handle is made out of wood not sure what type tho :/

Take a closer look at what you think is 'Grades'. I'm willing to bet it says "Brades" or Brades Co. They were in business from the early 1800's to the early 1900's in England. Also, judging from the size, it sounds like it may have been used by a tinsmith, silversmith or clockmaker. They were well known for their axes and drawknives. The few tools I have seen had what I think was ash handles.
