I mean, they are called grand pipe organs for a reason. It has been stated that they were one of the most difficult musical instruments to make before the industrial revolution came out, well look how huge they were. I mean they can have up to like 33,000 pipes! Thats ALOT of pipes! This just surprises me. I mean the older organs are so beautiful when you look at them, like come on you can tell they have alot of history to them just by looking at all the wood work and detail engraved in. Its just I wonder why they were so huge back then, I mean you figure all the years of work put into them and all the pipes they had to souder in.

I mean, I know that these countries are newly wealthy, but why do they have to spend like the maharajas that use to oppress them. I know they missed the Enlightenment and are just now going through their own Industrial Revolution, but why can't they emulate their western counterparts that are basically giving away their fortunes instead of building up dynastic wealth to further stratify the rich and poor.
