Power requirements:
Usually your video card will determine the smallest power supply you can use. Size it for the best card you will ever install. The card specs will state something like a minimum rating of 450 watts with 24 amps on the 12 volt leg of the power supply that supplies the video card. Usually you will need to get a power supply with a higher wattage rating to meet the minimum amperage requirement.
