Mohs Micrographic Surgery, a curing procedure, is a highly effective form of laser surgery that removes cancerous tumors. The surgery results in smaller defects and less noticeable scarring. According to the Laser and Skin Therapy Center of New York, when treating skin with Mohs Micrographic Surgery skin with no prior treatment has under a one percent probability of tumor reoccurrence, and skin areas with prior treatment have under a four percent probability of tumor reoccurrence.
Mohs Micrographic Surgery Process

On the day of the surgery, the area of skin will be numbed with an injection.
