What are some science fair project ideas involving 5k's?
My daughter is in 5th grade, not too motivated over this, but is required to do a science fair project for school this year. She has taken an interest in my running and we did a 5K together last year that she really enjoyed; we will be doing one again in March even. So what ideas do you have that could be a great science fair project for a 5th grader?
Time to run the distance compared to heart rate on a graph would be interesting. If you start with the resting heart rate and measure the final pulse rate you could compare the time it takes you to run 5K.
