Pro Stop
how do i stop my macbook pro going to sleep when i close it?
I purchased a dvi adapter for my macbook pro and can use it fine with osx. i.e I can connect my 22inch monitor to the mackbook (using the adapter) and can close the lid of the laptop. however, when i try the same thing (on bootcamp) using windows, closing the lid puts the laptop to sleep. the only solution so far is to have the laptop wide open. this isn't very practical because the dvi adapter isn't long. Is there a way to stop this happening?
In System Preferences, tell Energy Saver: Never.

How do I stop the dang Pro Plan adds from taking up my screen?
they pop up everytime I am looking at a question, every single time I click on a new link. Even if I go back and forth on the toggle. I am so damned sick of it I want to puke.
I ALREADY PUT THIS IN YAHOO PRODUCTS but I didnt get a answer at all so I am hoping one of you know.
I've been wanting to ask this too. How can anyone answer a question with that obnoxious thing in the way?
