My new power supply is not working, and is just displaying rv370 p/n 113-a6s801-106 bios. What did I do wrong?
I installed a new power supply on my XPS 400, and my computer does not seem to work anymore. All the necessary parts are showing power: motherboard, hard drive, disk drives, heat sink, video card. But my screen only displays: rv370 p/n 113-a6s801-106 bios. Does anyone have any idea what I did wrong, or what might not be plugged in?
Did you connect the separate four pin connector? If not, the pc wont run.If the power supply doesn't have the 4 pin connector, you bought the wrong one. It should have a 20 pin connector, plus a four pin, both plug into the motherboard. Some power supplies have the 4 pin clipped to the 20 pin, so you may not have noticed it.....and good luck!
