Milling Machine Plasma

Is it true that 99.75% of every thing created, developed, discovered in modern society ?
has been by Whites?
Electricity, oil and its usage, radio, TV, Computers, internet, typewriters, telephones, electric lights, motors, engines, (gas, diesel, jet, steam) boom boxes, football, baseball, basketball, golf, musical instruments guitars, including the electric guitars, radiation, X-rays, cameras, sewing machines, the printing press, glasses, eyeglasses, telescopes, microscopes, window glass, automobiles, airplanes, guns, a-bombs, antibiotics, vaccines, machine lathes. mills, welding(arc, gas, mig, tig, plasma cutters), metal alloys, the chemistry periodic chart of all the elements, except the elements known by the ancients- gold, silver, lead.....), indoor plumbing, discovery of microbes, Christianity, etc, etc.
And the Whites shared all their knowledge with the entire world, freely.
Yes, and it's pretty sad when we spend an entire month celebrating the inventor of peanut butter.

| | Milling Machine $78.07 A milling machine is a machine tool used for the shaping of metal and other solid materials. Milling machines exist in two basic forms: horizontal and vertical, which terms refer to the orientation of the cutting tool spindle. Unlike a drill press, in which the workpiece is held stationary and the drill is moved vertically to penetrate the material, milling also involves movement of the workpiece against the rotating cutter, the latter of which is able to cut on its flanks as well as its tip. Workpiece and cutter movement are precisely controlled to less than 0.001 inches (.025 millimeters), usually by means of precision ground slides and leadscrews or analogous technology. Milling machines may be manually operated, mechanically automated, or digitally automated via computer numerical control (CNe. Milling machines can perform a vast number of operations, some very complex, such as slot and keyway cutting, planing, drilling, diesinking, rebating, routing, etc. Cutting fluid is often pumped to the cutting site to cool and lubricate the cut, and to sluice away the resulting swarf. | | High Speed End Milling of Single Crystal Silicon Wafer $113.11 Machining of silicon is a big challenge and expensive affair because of its inherent brittleness which is a major limitation on machining brittle material as the process of removing the material can generate subsurface damage. This project aimed at machining silicon by high speed endmilling using diamond coated tools under ductile regime machining. However, to machine the brittle material in a ductile mode machining required a certain condition and parameters which can be achieved. In this research, high speed end milling of silicon is introduced as a potential machining technique to facilitate ductile mode machining. Influence of three cutting parameters which are spindle speed, axial depth of cut and feed is analyzed. 3level full factorials were used to study the end milling conditions that could give the operation in ductile Author: Amin, A. | | Milling (Paperback) $55.99 From a craftsman with a lifetime`s experience in engineering and metalworking, a detailed guide to milling, a vital part of the engineer`s and the model engineer`s armory With the aid of photographs and specially prepared drawings, this guide covers different types of milling machines and describes milling techniques. Milling is the process of cutting away material?usually, but not exclusively, metal?by feeding a piece of work past a rotating multiple-tooth cutter. The cutting action of the teeth of the milling cutter provides a fast method of machining, and the machines surface may be flat, angular, or curved. The surface may also be milled to any combination of shapes. Offering plenty of advice and warnings of potential pitfalls, this is the perfect companion for the amateur engineer. |

All Plasma Cutters Are Not the Same
When it comes to high speed, accurate and durable plasma cutters, it can be said that a high quality plasma cutter is truly the sum of its' parts. By building a plasma cutter with the best components, building it as strong and stable as possible, and making it easy to set up and use, you have a formidable cutting machine.
Plasma cutting machines must be able to hold their advertised tolerances today and, more importantly, for many years to come. Only well designed and well built plasma cutters can make such claims.
How does a plasma cutter achieve such tight tolerances? How does it perform consistently year after year? There are several important factors you must consider.
It starts with a heavy-duty, unitized, fully-welded design that provides the most stable platform for accurate plasma cutting. When the base of the machine does not move during cutting, the plasma torch is able to cut your parts with incredible accuracy. The plasma cutting table must able to handle heavy plate loads (2" and more) and withstand rigorous daily usage. You need professional grade machinery to produce professional grade products.
Next, the components need to be designed and machined to work together. Are all of the linear guides and rack mounting surfaces machined in a single set-up to assure the best possible accuracy? When these surfaces are precision machined and matched, the results are a plasma cutter capable of amazing precision. Helical rack and pinion drives and top quality linear guides provide unparalleled acceleration, motion smoothness and accuracy.
The plasma torch and the torch height control are also critical factors for determining cut quality and accuracy. Does your plasma cutter uses the highest quality automatic servo controlled arc voltage system? You can substantially increase productivity with faster response, shorter pre-flow times and tighter software integration. The bottom line is that it enables you to cut smarter.
A powerful, feature packed CNC software package must also include a combination of configurations and expandable features - flexibility is key. It must have the latest automation features provide high productivity and reliability. Nesting software is another key component that will allow the full potential of a top-quality plasma cutter to be realized. This makes it easy to set up, learn and use for either new or experienced operators.
You may be seeing that a fast, accurate and durable CNC plasma cutter is indeed the sum of it's parts.
By choosing a high quality CNC plasma cutter, you choose one capable of offering near-laser cut quality and accuracy at a fraction of both investment and operating costs. You also choose a plasma cutter capable of growing to meet your company and client's changing needs.
Even in slow economic times, it can be a mistake to be penny wise and pound foolish. Can you afford to buy cheap? Buying quality is never a mistake.

So when you convert this to CNC, do you lose all the gear settings and just program that in mach?
very good machine
No way! If all of the other machines are taken, it may be rude to stay on one machine for that long. HOWEVER, if the other machines are empty, you can stay on them for as long as you feel like. Especially because some machines (like recumbent bikes) take so long to get the same workout as running. Tell that lady to mind her own business, she's probably just shocked because she can only run for like five minutes herself.
