Oh my I need some help?
Hollander purchased a computer from a pawnshop for use in his real estate office. Several weeks later, Diem, one of Hollander's customers, mentioned that the computer looked familiar and asked if he could examine it. After checking the underside of the machine, he pointed to the Social Security number, which had been engraved on the metal frame by his insurance agent. Diem demanded the return of the computer, claiming that it had been stolen from him and that he could produce the original sales slip.
My questions yes or no
1. Can Diem legally recover the computer if he could prove that it had been stolen?
2. Can a rightful owner be estopped from recovering his or her property from an innocent purchaser?
3. Could the pawnshop have given good title to Hollander?
This is a legal issue that can only be resolved through goodwill or a disposal enquiry By law, Diem has every right to his property (if its proved beyond doubt). The pawnshop will be compelled to pay Hollander the sums he paid for the computer. Its the pawnshops responsibility to have reasonably taken steps to establish rightful ownership of any item that is chattel in pawn. By law, the pawnbroker will have the full details of the person who pawned the computer. Pawnshops are regulated by law or specific acts.

How does one strike metal coin-like tokens by hand as a home hobby?
This includes engraving dies and procuring the proper planchets, which could well be gold or silver, but more commonly, bronze or nickel. It is not to counterfeit, but to have personally-made tokens, like they use with game machines.
You can't make them as cheap as a private mint. It would cost a fortune for the die making machines, as well as a minting press. Even if you did the ancient thing of two dies, a pair of tongs and a hammer, you still have to know how to harden the dies you make. Go get a book on the minting process and you will see it is not an easy think to do and it is very expensive. If you are any good at making molds you can cast your own tokens. The Chinese cast billions of cash coins using sand molds. I commend you on wanting to try but the cost of your own mint will be expensive and casting takes a knack. Good luck.
