An engraving equipment?

Hi guys!
Does anybody know what kind of an equipment do I need for engraving on small metal tags? I am looking for simple and cheap for engraving metal pet tags, just with name, telephone number and address probably. Things I have seen on ebay are far too complicated and expensive. I am in the UK by the way...

Any small hand engraver would do, but why engrave.

Just get a set of metal punches and put the info on that way
