Material Engraving
Help with boyfriend...any ideas?
I've been together with my man for almost a year now, and we're each doing something special for each other. We decided we'd try to do something that is romantic, but also give each other a material gift..he said he's getting me a ring with an engraving, but just wont tell me the rest of it, and I was wondering, what's something to give to him? I asked him if he'd like anything specific, but he said anything will be just fine..(typical man answer haha) and I'm awful with gifts. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas..thanks in advance! xoxo.
haha he basically has everything he wants..soo there's not a whole lot. He loves airsoft, marines, and stuff like that.
Invite him over, cook his favorite meal with some candles on the table. Sparkling wine, or champagne. Favorite desert. Get a great movie. Offer him a back rub. Make him a cd of all his favorite songs, add a few of yours in there too. Make him a photo album of all your special times. Make it about you too!

They lasted less than a week, so this album is likely all that will ever be heard from this particular combination of players, but listeners can be glad to have it. Guitarist Nicky Skopelitis was the creative force and musical center of the band, forming the hub between the essentially rock-oriented leanings of Baker and bassist Jan Kazda and the explosively free tendencies of the Last Exit front line of Brotzmann and Sharrock. The rhythm team keeps the four lengthy pieces in a grooving zone, not dissimilar to Baker's own '80s recordings like Horses and Trees, albeit with high-energy soloing. The Skopelitis/Sharrock pairing is especially juicy, the former's melodicism contrasting wonderfully with the latter's "shards of glass" approach. Baker's heavy drum sound, largely unchanged since his days with Cream, fits in very well here; whereas it could occasionally seem plodding in a rock context, it serves as a deeply pitched anchor in a mostly free improv one. Compositional credit is given for each piece, though it appears that no more than a brief introductory line was sketched out; then the band was on there own. All of the pieces have a kind of bluesy jam feeling, with Skopelitis' "Oil of Tongue" coming closest to a rock sound and, not surprisingly, Brotzmann's closing number pushing the boundaries the furthest. The saxophone colossus from Wuppertal, Germany, is in stellar form throughout, negotiating the unusually (for him) rock-ish territory with aplomb and ferocity, with respect but absolutely no compromise; his fans would expect no less. A perfect album for listeners a bit overwhelmed by Last Exit, as well as those who found Baker's or Skopelitis' records well intentioned but a little on the timid side. Whats the best material for plugs out there?
I want to get the best for my 1 year coming up. My boyfriend loves his stretched ears and i want to get him nice plugs. Possibly a material i could get engraved. O and he would prefer a black metal or just anything other than gold. Stone is fine too

i went to this african type shop and they had plugs in different designs and shapes and they were made out of bulls horn they're my favorite pair or plugs
You can get it engraved, though you may have to limit your wording because Fossil usually sitcks their logo on the back of the watch face. Some may be willing to cast a backing that will cover up the logo, though many won't…something do with copyrights.
You would need to take it to a jewler to have it done with a professional engraving tool. Theirs are handheld so it doesn't matter if the back is flat or not, strip mall stores like Things Remembered program theirs into a machine and unless they can insert the object under the plate they can't engrave anything. (hence why they don't offer rings)
