When dealing with a laser powerful enough to burn something, or even close to that, be very careful.

Yes you can. I had a cut and was afraid that the laser would see the darker color and burn me there, or cause a permanent scar, but I talked to the lady that did the removal and she assured me that it wouldn't do any harm..and she was totally right. Second, you can go if you use acne meds. I had even used glycolic acid before and it was fine. You cannot however, do the removal if you have had a chemical peel of any kind. I wouldn't advise it if you acne meds make your skin really red or sensitive.
