Laser Cutting Laser please tell me were i can get a small laser cutter for cutting of hard granite stone?
i want a laser cutter for cutting of hard granite stone with the depth of 2 to 4 inches.that cutter must be carry bull in a bag.
This laser cutter can be carried.
But there are a few problems.
Firstly, if you think this can be used hand held you would be making a big mistake. Human beings shouldn't be anywhere near it when it is switched on.
Also you might find that the power supply is a little bit bigger than the laser. 30V at 80 Amps is a bit of a brute. Also the water cooling will take up quite a bit of space.

Okay, so we're not quite at the point in the future where everyone has their own flying car and, possibly more disappointing, we don't have personal laser cutting instruments. But judging by the way people drive while still on the ground, we're probably not ready for flying cars or laser cutting instruments for that matter. Still, a geek has to dream about such things, right? For now we will go with these Laser Guided Scissors, that will at least help you make some straight cuts. The built-in Laser helps you get straight cuts in paper and fabric, whether gift wrapping or working on a project at home or in the office.

Laser microdissection techniques have revolutionized the ability of researchers in general, and pathologists in particular, to carry out molecular analysis on specific types of normal and diseased cells and to fully utilize the power of current molecular technologies including PCR, microarrays, and proteomics. In second edition of Laser Capture Microdissection: Methods and Protocols, experts in the field provide the reader with practical advice on how to carry out tissue-based laser microdissection successfully in their own laboratory using the different laser microdissection systems that are available and to apply a wide range of molecular technologies. The individual chapters encompass detailed descriptions of the individual laser based micro-dissection systems. The downstream applications of the laser microdissected tissue described in the book include PCR in its many different forms as well as gene expression analysis including application to microarrays and proteomics. Written in the highly successful Methods in Molecular BiologyT series format, chapters include introductions to their respective topics, lists of the necessary materials and reagents, step-by-step, readily reproducible laboratory protocols, and tips on troubleshooting and avoiding known pitfalls. Authoritative and cutting-edge, Laser Capture Microdissection: Methods and Protocols, Second Edition is an ideal resource for researchers striving to move forward our understanding of normal physiology and pathology.
This book describes the basic mechanisms, theory, simulations and technological aspects of Laser processing techniques. It covers the principles of laser quenching, welding, cutting, alloying, selective sintering, ablation, etc. The main attention is paid to the quantitative description. The diversity and complexity of technological and physical processes is discussed using a unitary approach. The book aims on understanding the cause-and-effect relations in physical processes in Laser technologies. It will help researchers and engineers to improve the existing and develop new Laser machining techniques. The book addresses readers with a certain background in general physics and mathematical analysis: graduate students, researchers and engineers practicing laser applications.

Many people have a red laser pointer and some really cool people have the green laser pointer. But very few people have them both built into a single unit. Being the cutting edge geek that you are, we know you'll choose this dual output beauty. Why would you want to be like everybody else? The first laser pointer that projects a brilliant GREEN beam from one end and also a high-power RED beam. The GREEN beam is just as bright as other green pointers, range up to 2 miles in darkness, wavelength 532 nm. The green laser beam (not just the dot) is visible at night. The RED beam is the most powerful red laser allowed by the FDA, range 4000 ft in darkness. Power output Green Laser Specifications Output Mode - Constant wave Wavelength - 532 nm Batteries: 2 x AAA (included) Beam Dia. at Source - 1 mm Output Variance - 10% after 20 min. Anyone know about laser cutting?
Has anyone had their females spayed by a vet that did laser cutting? My vet charges $80 more for it over the traditional method. Is it worth the $80? Do they really heal faster? We'll be getting my dog spayed in the next few months. Are there stitches involved? And about how long does it take to heal?
Well laser entails much smaller incisions, much cleaner cuts, a shorter surgery time, and overall a safer procedure. They do heal faster and have less scarring. I think its a much better option, but its not like the traditional surgery is dangerous. If you can afford the extra cash, I would go for it.
