is there any type of laser or tool that can quickly cut through stone, rock or sand stone in a large scale and still be very prescise?

Most stone material is cut with a reciprocating saw using water as a coolant/lubricant. But yes a laser could cut stone but not a piece too thick.

We've had steel plates 3/4" thick that were laser cut to use as flanges and the bolt holes were still within 0.010" tolerance.
