Hot Stamping Products

How do I know what things I can buy with Illinois food stamps?
DO NOT JUDGE.
I have just gotten approved for food stamps in Illinois, and my benefits are supposed to be available Monday. But when I go to the grocery store with my link card how do I know what things I can and can't buy with food stamps? I know the basics - only food items no hot prepared foods or paper products. But what about tea, where does that fall? and Rice milk?
Also, what if I want to buy some cleaning products that aren't covered while I'm at the store? will I have to divide into two separate orders, or can I pay for all the food stuff with my link card and then put the rest on a debit card or cash?
I'll do most of my shopping at either Dominick's or Ultra Foods if it makes a difference. Any help appreciated, the more detailed the better!
the grocery stores have it all figured out for you. Their computers will figure out what is allowable for food stamps and what is paid by cash.
You can get tea and coffee, even sodas. Cleaning products will be paid by cash or debit card.

How do I fix slippery stamped concrete that also gets very hot?
Our pool area has stamped concrete around it. We've tried adding grit to our sealer and have used a special sealer with grit in it, but it is still dreadfully slippery. It also gets so hot in the summer we can't walk outside to the pool without shoes on. Can anyone suggest a product to apply or another creative solution to make our pool area more enjoyable?
In California and Texas we had a similar problem and we found out that artificial grass or AstroTurf works well. You won't slip and you wont get burnt feet. You can buy this stuff cheep at a Menards,Home Depot or Lowes. Don't use rubber due to the fact it will just get as hot as cement.

This is a really interesting question. I think you are right that it is a production code that they don't want you to know. I worked for several food companies with different codes so I'll tell you how to try to figure it out.
First you need to get several examples of the code so you can see what is changing. They usually use either a date, for example H could be a specific month, but do not assume that I is the next month (I told you they were sneaky), and then 7 could be the 7th day and 5 the last digit of the year.
Or another possibility is 7 is the seventh month and 225 is the 225th day of the year. Both systems are used. Almost always also included in the code is line number and probably shift number. 7:57 could be time and therefore shift is already defined. OT could also be October but that's pretty obvious and I doubt it.
Anyway get several codes and compare them. Look for
Date, Year, Shift, Line, and also one may be a flavor code if they run several flavors on that line. Its a real challenge to figure it out but it can be done if you know what you are looking for.
