Meek Art Of Engraving $47.95 THE ART OF ENGRAVING brings to the reader - for the first time ever - a complete authoritative imaginative and detailed introduction and training in the art of gun engraving. It is a supremely unique book for not only does it sweep aside the mystery which has surrounded engraving through the centuries but it factually simply and in layman's terms tells you how to engrave. Unlike so many so-called "instruction manuals" The Art of Engraving does not assume you know anything about engraving. You start at the beginning by learning to draw scrolls and layouts then cut practice plates until you are sure enough of your ability to actually proceed to designing a pattern t Mfg: Brownells |

Model 1900 Browning: NRA National Firearms Museum Curator's Corner
How to tell which model para ordinance 1911 I own?
I purchased my first handgun today. I bought it used from gander mountain for a reasonable price from what I can tell. It was a gun that was traded in for credit or whatever. Anyway, I'm trying to find the exact model I have, and I see most have the product code on the side but mine just has 7.45. I look on the receipt and it just said 1911A1 under model. I tried to find it on their website but I only find ones that almost look like it but different finish and they have the model number engrave design on them. Here is a lil info on the gun, it has a newer style trigger, six slot design on back but not on front of the slide, blue finish and walnut hand grips. Thanks for reading and any help will be appreciated.
It could be that para has only their newest line-up of guns on their websites. I dont know much about para's outside that i want a para 1911. supposed to be great guns. My best info for you would be to check out gunbroker.com see if there are any para's selling which im sure there are and try to find one like yours on their. Or you should try reposting this but instead of other outdoor activity section put it in the hunting section. That is where i post all my questions. This section is more geared towards air soft stuff it seems
