Grave Stones Engraving

I am a visiting Brit, i posed a contentious question here yesterday and was pleasantly surprised?

To get good answers rather than Cant or Rant. Hopefully i might make a few think about this one. "Where is Mary (the mother of Jesus) buried.. I have seen the grave and the engraved stone.
The stone specifies "Mother to the Christos
No. The stone was marked in Latin
OK i will put up. The grave i saw about 12 years ago was in Ephesus. The explanation i was given by a local historian was that she had in later life remarried to a fairly rich Roman citizen. Bare in mind the frictions between Rome and Ephesus as to which should be the centre of the Christian faith and the implications that would have. IF the grave IS genuine then it is hardly a surprise that the church of Rome would not wish it to be known too publicly also Mary remarried could pose some awkward questions

Wow! I'm intrigued, but have little to offer. I think I'll just float here awhile and see if I can learn something. Thanks for the good question.

So, it's in Ephesus, a city of ancient Anatolia (Turkey)? When I checked what Wikkipedia had to say about Ephesus, I learned that there is an ancient ruin there that is believed to be the house where Mary lived out her last years and died. Supposedly, St. John took Mary to Ephesus, following Christ's crucifixion.

Question for Jehovah's Witnesses ..What do you think?

of the grave sight of Charles Taze Russell..Have you ever viewed it? It is a huge Pyamid with a cross and crown on all sides engraved in stone and the workds Watchtower and also the words "Laodician Messenger" engraved in it. I doubt you guys will ever look it up to see for your self. But, if he was a prophet wouldn't he know that Jehovah's Witnesses do not have anything to do with the cross emblem? What are your thoughts about this?

I know things have changed over the years..but, if he were a true prophet then I don't understand why he and JW's don't know these things already, and have to keep changing..by the way, the web page is not cutting and pasting right.

You have Jehovah's Witnesses confused with 'Russellites.

They I believe are headquarted in Texas. You can purchase CT Russell's complete set of 'Study in the Scriptures"

They believe that Russell was the 'faithful Slave' and broke away when Rutherford became Pres. of the Society.

Jehovah's Witnesses never taught that Brother Russell was an inspired Prophet.

Jehovah used Br. Russell and others in the organization to shine light on Bible truths, But no one of Jehovah's Witnesses claim to be God inspired Prophets.

Never have Jehovah's Witnesses claimed to be infallable in our understanding of God's Word.

It is Jehovah's Word that is inspired and infallable.

Even the Apostles need correction on serveral occations.

Jehovah didn't reveal who the Messiah would be all at once.

Jesus didn't reveal his truths all at one time.

Add to the quality of the King James Bible, It is amazing anyone could find the truth.

With the amount of conflicting teachings found in Christendom, according to your reasoning, No one should be a Christian.
