NEED LOTS OF ANSWERS HERE.....would this building lot be a problem for you?

im building to sell and i am considering a building lot in a small but new subdivision. the lots are nice and spaced out....aprox an acre a piece. the one im looking at buying and building on is a corner lot right at the entrance of the subdivision. its a nice lot treed and up on a bit of a hill making the home look grand i think. the problem im worried about is the subdivision has their name engraved on a nice granite stone at the entrance right on the edge of the lot im interested in. thats not the entire problem...the subdivision sign actually reads..."Granmar Estates, in loving memory of ***** and***** "............if you know what i mean.,..i just dont know if anyone wants to buy a home with that on the edge of their property.....what do you think? would it bother you?? Would you be just iffy enough that you would pass on it?

No, it wouldn't bother me at all. I think I would actually feel that it gave a bit of a history to the place, think it was nice that someone wanted to be sure these people were remembered and I'd want to know who these people were.

Garden Paving Slabs; A Great Way To Hardscape Your Landscape

Placing garden paving slabs in your garden can greatly enhance the look of your yard. Paving slabs can be used for patios, walkways, or driveways. They are larger than bricks and can be textured or smooth and even have a pattern engraved on them.

There are many types of garden slabs available on the market today. They can be made from either natural or man-made materials. They come in many different sizes and thicknesses and can be found in concrete, flagstone, marble, granite and sandstone just to name a few. They can exude a look of elegance or give off a rustic look to your garden.

When choosing your garden paving slabs keep in mind wear and tear and how their color may diminish with age and exposure to the elements. It is possible to re-tint the slabs after a few years if they are made from concrete, but many times that weathered look is desirable in a garden.

Garden paving slabs can become a walkway leading to your home or leading into your garden. They can be placed with large spaces in between them filled with grass or moss to create a pathway. Garden slabs make a great driveway that will be different from all the others on the block. They have a non slip surface and resist moisture. Granite will make an elegant patio but be aware that granite slabs are much more expensive than the others. They also may not be as durable as others that look more rustic. Sandstone and limestone slabs are an economic way to use natural substances in your garden.

Whether you have your garden paving slabs installed in a group or as a pathway through your property, they will greatly enhance the aesthetic beauty of your yard.
