Foot Halogen Hand

Take time off because it's too cold in my office?

The office I work in is at an industrial estate. It's cold, there is no heating, except for the Air con, which doesn't work properly. The last 3 days, I have shivered at my desk, Frozen hands and toes Had my own halogen heater to try getting my legs / feet warm .

I'm wearing office clothes with tshirts underneath, and layers of wool jumpers on top. My body is OK, but my arms, feet are cold. The thermometer in the office is showing 9degrees C. The air con is set to take it to 25 degrees, but not working properly.

As the health and safety rep, I have told the boss that we need to improve our heating, get it up to at least 16 degrees, I can't work like this. I can't wear any more layers or gloves. I have a sore throat and am generally feeling a chill and shivers because of this and it is depressing me that nothing is getting done about it.

Tomorrow I want to stay warm at home, but it wont fix the cold at work. Suggestions please?
