The ones with organizations or words engraved into them. They used to be quite popular 4 years ago but nobody wears them anymore

They're called silicone wristbands, or just simply rubber bracelets as you said. There's not really any special name for them. Many are for some kind fo awareness, like breast cancer awareness, so they are called awareness bracelets too.

Can words engraved in the coating of a rubber roof effect it's durability?

I recently had a rubber roof layed on the flat parts of my home (less than 1 month ago). I was just in my attic and looked onto the rubber roof and saw that the roofers engraved a saying about 1 1/2 feet long in the silvery coating. Other than being completely unprofessional, will this effect the strength of the roof as we replaced the old one due to a leak. My husband thought it was funny and wants to let this go. I want it fixed. Your thoughts (roofers especially)?

Engraved? Or written in kiel (type of roofing chalk)? And not the manufacturer's OEM printing?

If there has been any after-market alteration to the actual roofing material surface using means or methods not approved by the manufacturer, it will void the warranty for that section of the roof. Get it replaced if so.
