Engraving on a flag case, help please...?

My Grandpa passed and was in the Navy, I bought an oak case for the flag, I would like to put a small engraved plate with his name on it on the box but am unsure of what else should be engraved also, any suggestions? You help is greatly appreciated.

His name, year of birth and year of death. I have this on my Fathers flag case. Sorry for your loss.
