Engraving Leather Albums
Anyone know or have information about binolux binoculars?
I just recently purchased a pair of binoculars that were said to be compass binoculars...I just received them in the mail...They are in original box (very old looking) with leather case sillica gel pack and all lens caps. When i started getting more indepth at looking for information i could not find anything of brand name COMPASS....I started to look over box for anyclues and realised that the compass logo was a very old sticker put over another word...I took one sticker off and found that the brand was binolux...The binoculars themselves have Compass engraved...and the picture on the box is the very same binoculars..the # on binoculars is 15205---8x40 while the # on box is 4087---8x40...I guess im really lost still can not find any information on this exact pair of binoculars...can anyone help...About how old are they??What are they worth...I have included a link to a picture.. http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh210/bbauder1/Picture028.jpg

So its me and my bf's 3rd anniversary, I wanna get him something nice but i have no ideas whatsoever. 3rd yr is supposed to be leather i think, but whats worth giving in leather that he doesnt already have?
In the past Ive given him handmade card/craftstuffs, clothes, a scrapbook, picture album, had drawn pic of us, engraved ring and dogtag.... so i pretty much have exhausted my ideas....lol

what a sweetheart. try putting together a personal kit for him. i.e. cologne, eternity a must have, new leather shaving kit bag, new toothbrush, a couple lotions, deodorants. you get the picture. heres what makes it super special and hell feel that: take your time finding the right bag, youll know it when you see it. and take your time and look all your other choices to put in it with interest and what feels right. then wrap each item separately, if you can with different paper on each item, fill the bag with all of the goodies wrapped, then put a post it on the side of the bag saying "handled with care and love", then wrap the bag. put a ribbon and a bow on it. maybe write "i love you" gently and softly, and not too big, where he will notice it as he opens it. he will see the joy and feel the effort you put into it, and i promise you he will pitter patter and love it. because its personal, and your love was put into it. he will be touched. love is grand isnt it. have fun.
p.s. i did this for my girl, now wife, with a huge basket, and about 40 different soaps, lotions, body butters, bath beads. and she told me that that was the most thoughtful gift anyone has ever given her. i spent half a day almost, but it was perfect. all the best

It is Mike Appel's jacket. Bruce gave it back to him many years later. It is currently on display at the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland for a massive Bruce exhibit. I was not impressed with it when I was threre 10+ years ago becuase of the lack of things Bruce…. Perhaps thay are making up for it now.
