Engraving Laser
Will laser engraving on the outside of a tungsten wedding band ring hold up over time?
My fiance wants to get a tungsten wedding band with laser engraving on the OUTSIDE of the band (it has a celtic knot design on the outside). He is worried, however, that over time the celtic knotwork will get scratched. I thought that tungsten was a pretty tough metal, and the woman at the jewelry store assured us that the design work would not scratch over time.

I'd guess after reading about it that the jeweler was right. I knew that tungsten steel was tough, but it seems that the element itself is pretty tough, too!
It'll CERTAINLY be harder to scratch than a traditional gold ring!

How do you "laser engrave" on a cd?
hey yahoo answers community,
my friend came up to me one day and showed me this cd/dvd and it had a design on it. He said all u had to do was, put the cd/dvd upside down in the drive and run a program. Does any one know what that program is and where i could download/buy it? Thanks!
Yoy Prob. Cant do it Unless you have a HP/Compaq PC or laptop, if your do the cd drive will say lightscribe on the cd drive front when you eject it. and if it says that you use "Sonic Labeler Express" with a lightscribe disk.
