Engraving Kiosks

Going to Washington D.C. during Spring Break and wasn't able to get reserved tix for these sites.?

Since it's busy next week, they were all sold out of the Washington Monument tix (to go up the monument), for the Bureau of Engraving & Printing & White House tour. I heard I could get tix to Washington Monument & BEP by standing outside the kiosk before it opens to avoid the long lines? Any suggestions on when/how? Also, my daughter had really wanted to see the White House interior, but no room left on the tours. . . do we need to wait til our next trip or is there another way to get in with a tour?

get there at 630 in the morning and you might get tickets for the 2 o'clock trek up the Washington monument.

you will not be able to get WH tickets they don't do the tours any more due to security concerns. the only way is to go through your Congressman,and those tickets are FCFS and there is a several month long waiting list to get them.

I think that Things Remembered in the Tyson's Corner mall will engrave items purchased elsewhere.
