Correct Way to Engrave Initials.?

I am having the gift im giving to my bf for our 1year anniversary engraved. His intials are C.K.S but he is a junior. What is the proper way to request it be engraved? Also do I include junior in the intials as well? Please lemme know. Thanks

Usually, First Middle Last is OK everywhere. Persnippity people lean towards First Last Middle. Jr is overkill. ask your jewler what he usually does.

Can a guy wear his girlfriend's ring around his neck?

Okay, I gave my boyfriend my claddagh ring today, which I got engraved for our initials. Is it proper for him to just keep this, or would it be acceptable for him to wear it around his neck with a chain? All the theory about promise ring I read about generally indicated a boy giving a girl a ring, but I gave him one of mine, and it doesn't fit around his fingers.

I've known a lot of guys that wear their girlfriend's ring on a chain around their neck.
It is acceptable.
I would never do it.
To me personally it would feel like I was wearing a dog collar and it represented who owned me.
But that's just me.
