reference images for warhammers / minotaurs /doglords / bone breastplates / runes???

im designing and rendering an illustration of a mythical creature for a friend.

the creature is to look similar to a minotaur except with a doglords face and has to hold a warhammer engraved with runes. hes also sposed to wear a bone breastplate.

the problem is that im not real familiar with mythical creatures (i dont seem to see them much at my place!) and i cant really find any images on the web from the searches iv done.

does anyone hav any links /pictures/ illustrations for me to use as reference?
