Engraving Diamonds What does SGS mean inside gold ring... and how do I tell if this ring is real gold and diamonds or not?
I have a gold and diamond ring.. Well I think it's real gold and diamonds.. My father gave it to me, and to say the least he's an interesting man.. So I have my doubts.. Anyways on the inside of the band it has "SGS" engraved in a small diamond shape. What does that mean? And how can I tell if this ring is real or not.
this can be the logo of this ring manufacturer! normally, the ring will stamped with : karat of gold ( 18K, 14K, etc. ) and, diamond weight if it is real diamond: CTW: xxct.
there is an easiest way to clarify it: show a jeweler. they should give u some ideas to it.

This knife has a fixed blade. It looks handmade. The sheath looks handmade as well. The sheath is engraved with a diamond pattern.
Find an antique store that deals in knives etc. Ask around first and see if they are reputable or not. Then see what they tell you. Remember not all antique dealers are on the level, a lot of them are just fences for theives.
