Engraver Plaque

need help with translation of a prayer into scots-gaelic for my grandpa's 100th b-day. thank you for any help

The prayer is going to be engraved on a plaque. i know there are probably some of the words that will have no direct translation but i would like to get it as accurate in grammar, punctuation and spelling as possible, if its not too much trouble, before i send it to the engraver. This would be a great favor to me and my family and we deeply thank anyone who is willing to help us.

(here is the prayer).... "Oh Lord, commander and king of the heavenly armies, raise me to thy right hand and defend me in battle against the princes, powers and rulers of evil. into the darkness I will charge without fear, for you are with me always. Amen."

Romanian culture- what would a Romanian prefer?

I am engraving gifts of each person's whole name, for some Romanaian business associates.

I'm confused: in what order, should I print their names on the items? First name first or last name first?

The reason I ask, whenever they present themselves, its always "Smith John". For engraved pens and plaques, should I list their last names first or first names first? The gifts are item they will keep in their office in Romania.

If anyone is kind enough to answer, please provide an answer to the order of their names, I need to provide instructions to the engraver ASAP.

Hi,
Depends I guess on how old your business partners are. Until a few years ago, last name first was usual (communistic heritage). Lately, especially in international business, first name first is recommended. Besides, the effect would be better. Hope this helps.
