Tools and engraving ??

Im an apprentise an ive spent a fair bit of money on my own tools and i when i go bk to college i dont want any of the lads to steal any of my tools cos the proberly would.. Someone mentioned about getting an engraver and i thought about it but then i thought what would i engrave on it, id engrave my name but i thougjt that would seem abit lame and dead on that i thought they were all ginna nick them so any ideas on what i could engrave on them?

Try a personal I.D. # that only you would know the significance of. Like the number of the house where you grew up in or the year your mom was born. Or make up a personal symbol or mark. I use my name and/or a triangle with 2 dots in it. I try to mark each tool in 2 locations in inconspicuous places. If the tool has removable grips, I remove the grips, make my mark and then cover it with the grips. On some of my wrenches, I put my mark inside the jaws if possible.
