Should I give him the gifts back after the break up?

My boyfriend and I just broke up after a year and a half. It was not ugly by any means, but it was not completely amicable as well (there are still a few harsh feelings there, on my part anyway). I absolutely feel it was the right decision. There were some gifts given in the relationship. I gave him a nice watch, a watch case, and a few other little things. He gave me a pair of earrings, a digital picture frame, he had my diploma framed, and he gave me a Tiffany's necklace and a Tiffany's bracelet. I have no desire to have his gifts back-they were just that, gifts. Should I give him the jewelry back. He didn't ask when we broke up and I still, after a while, may where them because they are beautiful pieces (there is nothing mushy engraved on them or anything)
