Dremel Engraving Glass
i had just bought a dremel and wanted to start to learn glass etching or engraving, ne tips for me?
im a beginner so lets start basic tips and tricks
Don't breathe the dust.
A dust mask is not enough.
Get an acrylic fish tank(rectangular)
cut a piece of plexiglas to fit the top.
Use protective gloves.
Set tank on it's side
tape and drape palstic over the opening
reach in the tank and engrave, looking through the top and sides to guide your hands, do not breathe the dust, do not get glass in eyes,
Try a chemical etching cream maybe, instead. Drilling into glass may not be the best beginner craft.
Same advice goes for carving eggs
DO NOT BREATHE THE DUST.

Using a Dremel tool for Glass Engraving
you have to go to a art historian, or an antiquity trader (a good one). He will tell you what it is worth. If you want to sell it, to get a proper price: Sell it to a collector or someone/ somewhere that has a special collection to such a printing plate – m(aybe the company that printed from it is still in buisness).
Do not expect that great riches, but a bit of money (as in a few hundred dollars) should be possible – if the plate is not fake, and still in good condition.
