How to burn AVI files to a DVD disk without using Roxio.?

I have burned avi files to a dvd disk before but its seems to cut out some of the picture when I play them on my DVD/AVI player. Is there a way that I can burn these files without the picture being cut out? What program can I use.

Which type of dremel disk should I use to cut metal?

I want to use a dremel to cut a hole in my pc case, which is made of 5-7mm metal (not sure what type..think its steel)

However the ones that came with my dremel was useless and was worn down after few seconds of cutting.

Can anyone suggest what type of dremel disc i should get? Is the diamond cutter good for the job?

P.S. please dont suggest using jigsaw or other tools to do the job as i dont have them

Dremel makes a reinforced fiberglass cutter, try that instead. I cut a hole into the back of a metal cabinet for electrical cords using the same type of cutter, but pc casing may be thicker. Luckily cutters aren't terribly expensive. If you have a variable speed model trying changing the speed as well. Good luck!
