Paint Filling - Fine Engravings?
I have a King Silver Flair Trumpet with a nice engraving of a flower on it. I want to trace over the engraving in black to give it some extra contrast.
What would be a good way to trace over this engraving? It's really fine - a toothpick will not fit in the channel - probably laser cut.
Your best bet is a liquid material which can be applied to the trumpet, and then removed from the surface of the metal and left behind in the channels - similar to the intaglio printing process. In fact you could probably use Intaglio ink to serve your purposes. Link is to etching inks, which should serve you well.

Lightscribe or labels are pretty much the closest you'll get with a home computer for a decent price.
The dymo disc printer is the cheapest alternative to those options I could find, and it reviewed okay on newegg. It looks as though there's some trial and error regarding what CDs and settings combinations turn out well. I would assume the ink cartridges for this are expensive and proprietary.
As for me, I'll stick to a sharpie, but if you really need to print labels, these are probably your best options.
Light Scribe drives (originally introduced by HP) allow you to burn the CD/DVD and the label using one device.
You will need to buy LightScribe compatible blank media or you will be unable to print / burn the label.
The most cost effective solution is an internal LightScribe Burner drive. I like newegg.com – they've got great pricing (30-45 USD plus shipping).

I have a few of these. That's a Walther PP, not a Hungarian knock-off. War time production but as others have said, likely put together by a GI from parts since the slide and frame numbers don't match and it doesn't have acceptance marks.
During the war the manufacturer's names were omitted from guns so the allies wouldn't know how many guns were coming from where. I'm sure that intelligence figured out the codes but that's why there's no Walther banner on except for the grips.
