Today most guys are like that. (Scared to jump into a relationship). And then again he just got of a long time relationship so it is going to hard for him to just fully accept someone else because he is scared that the relationship will end. In my opinion, if he is still spending time with you on a regular basis then he is still feeling you he just can't come right out and say anything because he is still scared. Just hang in there he will come around soon. His responce is not a surprising one at all. Today most guys are like that. (Scared to jump into a relationship). Comment on Brass Tags Engraving by Cliff Krainikhttp://www.merenters.com/brass-tags-engraving/comment-page-1/#comment-583 Cliff Krainik Thu, 17 Feb 2011 10:50:48 +0000 http://www.merenters.com/brass-tags-engraving/#comment-583 About that ULBC Camp swimming pool. I know for many the pool holds great memories and the alternative to dipping into the algae-covered League Lake. However, my memories are quite different. On my first visit to camp, I was stationed in the “Dugout” and classified as a “Minnow” - that is, a non-swimmer - those guys assigned to the pool to learn to swim. As many of my cabin mates were “Minnows” (beginning swimmers) and allowed in the lake behind the safety floats, I was mortified to be placed where only the “G.G.s” (Golden Gloves, ie. the real younguns’) could go. As I recall, the status of camp swimmers was as follows - Tadpoles (non-swimmers) in the pool; Minnows (swimmers who showed some ability - they could swim from the end of the pier to the raft); and, then, the Sharks (those campers who could swim around the raft back to the pier) - this was the elite group, and I believe they wore “brass” tags around their wrists, while the Minnows had aluminum tags. There was always talk about Super Swimmers who held the rank of “Whale,” but I think that was more lore than fact.I progressed out of the pool to “Minnow” and before my camping days ended, I was a swimming “Shark” thanks to the camp lessons and my time at the au naturel swimming pool at ULBC No. 1 - those who used to swim there know exactly what I’m talking about. Wonder what I did with my Shark tag? About that ULBC Camp swimming pool. I know for many the pool holds great memories and the alternative to dipping into the algae-covered League Lake.
