Can I buy one? Or is that just silly? It would be for routing holes in the neck of a guitar for inlay..

You might consider building a jig/fixture for this application - especially if you're only going to be doing this on a few guitar necks.

How should I power my CNC?
I got a little crazy and ordered a CNC router that takes 3 phase power.
There are 3 router heads at 5kW each, a 5.5kW vac pump, and a 4kW saw. The router heads and saw will only be run one at a time, so the max load should be 10.5kW.
I don't have a place to put it, so I've been looking. The only property I've found with 3phase power can't accommodate such a large machine (12' x 18', and 9' tall).
I've found several properties out in the country that have out-buildings that would work... except they don't have 3phase power.
With 25kW of connected loads and 10.5kW (max) operating load, should I just get a generator? Is this too much load to convert from single/split phase?
There are some pretty hokey systems out there that "trick" 3-phase motors into running on 2 (or even 1) of their phases. This destroys them.
The question isn't as much about the CNC machine as it is about the power for the motors.
this is probably to wrong forum to answer that question. 90% of people on here prob haven't heard of a cnc. y/a is filled with angsty teenagers.
