Why doesn't SolidWorks export .stl files?
I use SolidWorks in college for graphics rendering, but none of the computers we isntall it on, including my laptop, will 'save as' a Stereo Lithography file. This is a problem because we need .stl files for use with our CNC hardware.
Could it be because we are using the Student kit? Or just a general problem? any help much appreciated
It might be just in the student version, because the professional version can "save as" just about anything, including STL.
