What to get a new boyfriend for Valentines day?
We have been dating for a little over a month. He hasn't really opened up to me because of everything that has happened. He lost his dad a few months ago and he has been hurt really bad in the past. He really doesn't have any hobbies. I know he likes to fish but not much about the equipment he has or anything. I already got a cute card and a picture frame with a picture of us. I plan to get a single rose to. I know he has money but I have no idea what else to get him. I have been thinking about a nice engraved keychain but I need more ideas. Help!!
Well, I know not to make his dad a part of it. I lost my mom a day before Valentines day last year so I know what it is like. I was just explaining the reasons why i am cluless.

I would try to not include the dad in this at all, it seems like you obviously want to do as much for him as you can, but its not your responsibility. Valentine's day is between you and him, the best you can do is take his mind off everything else for a while and make sure he has a great time doing something with you! My husband loves fishing, and one time I rented a boat for the two of us for one day, and he cottoned on and brought all his fishing gear. If you could do something like that, i'm sure he'll really appreciate it. Bottom line is though, time is the only thing that will ease his pain! If you put a smile on his face you've done your bit.
